What is Feeding South Florida?

Feeding South Florida is a nonprofit organization that dedicates it's time to feeding people in need in the South Florida area by giving people access to food and spreading knowledge about the community's need for food.  

 

As the Group 8 Collaboration, we unite with Feeding South Florida to transform community outcomes. By combining student innovation with organizational expertise, we strive to build a more food-secure future through dedicated service, operational excellence and donations.

How YOU Can Help!

The community needs your help! Feeding South Florida is a nonprofit, which means they depend heavily on community assistance and donations. Some ways to help feed the community is by helping volunteer to prep meals, source food and even help find sponsors through networking.

Did you know? 

- Around 8-10% of families in South Florida live below the poverty line, having many wonder where the will get their next meal.

- There are around 8,000 homeless people in South Florida.

Feeing South Florida helps provide more than 2 million meals to the community a week!
